In my first days as President, I envisioned a re-energized organization with a focus on Values, Visibility, and Voice, the pillars of synergistic leadership. As we enter the second half of the year, we've made significant strides, including forming new sections in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, hosting a successful Spring Conference, and initiating key collaborations and proposals.

Masks are now “officially” off in Japan – and most places around the world.  Most travel restrictions have also been lifted.  It has been a slow slog freeing ourselves of the COVID pandemic.  It still exists, but life almost everywhere is indeed getting back to normal.

The annual AIA International Conference will be in-person in Dubai this year from November 11-14 and will coincide with the Dubai Expo as well as Cityscape. It promises to be a fabulous event!
