2023 AIA International Design Awards
AIA International held its 2023 Design Awards Ceremony at the Memory and Tolerance Museum in Mexico City on 2 November 2023, as part of the Opening Reception of the AIA International Conference. We were delighted to see a record high-quality number of entries in this 10th year of the awards program.
Collectively, these awards recognize the ability of outstanding architecture to inspire our fellow practitioners, governments and the public, globally.
The jury selected submissions across four categories - Architecture, Interior Architecture, Open International and Unbuilt Design. Winning projects were eligible for further recognition for combining exceptional design with sustainability, in the form of the Sustainable Future Award developed with our partner Dow. Secondly, we continued the Inclusive Design Excellence Award (IDEA) which honors projects which excel in demonstrating meaningful, inclusive and accessible design that supports all people.
