This Autumn, we are excited to resume our in-person events, starting with the AIA UK Summer Gala: ‘Soiree in the Jungle’, at the ZSL London Zoo, on Friday 10 September.

Our annual Bike & Sketching Tour is also back, on 18 September, exploring the architecture of SE London. The AIA UK + RIBA Keynote Lecture will return to the RIBA this year, and will be delivered by Tatiana Bilbao, on 27 September 2021. The lecture will also be shared online.

We shall also return to the cinema for the popular Movie Night Series on 19 October, with a screening and Q&A of ‘Shelter Without Shelter’, a film by board member Dr. Mark Breeze, AIA.

The annual Student Charrette also returns, and it will be held on Saturday 30 October.

This Autumn we shall also have two virtual lectures: the Technical Lecture: ‘Architects on Fire’, delivered by Paul Bussey FIIRSM of AHMM, on the tragic Grenfell Fire. We shall also have another Sustainability Lecture by Raphael Lafargue of climate engineering firm Transsolar.

We are very much looking forward to the packed Autumn schedule, and especially welcoming all of our members to the in-person events!
