Treasurer 2024-2025 – Call for Nominations

Dear Members of AIA International,

We are seeking nominations for the position of AIA International Treasurer, to serve on the board for a term from January 2024 through December 2025.

The role of the Treasurer is as follows:

  • The Treasurer serves as an Officer of the Board and sits on the Executive Committee

  • Is responsible for the financial affairs of AIA International

  • Drafts budget for upcoming year to be approved by the Board

  • Reports financial activity to the Board monthly at Board meetings 

  • Authorizes spending of AIA International's funds

  • Presents annual financial report to membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  • Performs other duties assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors

  • Prepares AIA International's accounts for those years in which they serve as Treasurer

  • Has general responsibility for aspects of governance and operations of the component.

Nominations for Treasurer may be submitted:

  • By the Board of Directors

  • By any AIA chapter located outside the United States

  • Through a petition containing the signatures of ten eligible members. A copy of the petition may be found at www.aiainternational.org. If not all the nominating members are able to sign one petition form, multiple forms may be used to collect the required ten signatures.

Please submit your nominations to the Secretary, Segene Park, AIA, by the *extended deadline* of Wednesday 7 June, at 5:00pm (Eastern US Time).

Any current members of AIA International including Architects, Associates, and International Associates may be nominated.
