Hirokazu Suemitsu was born in Ehime, Japan in 1976.
Graduated with Bachelor (1999) and Master (2001) of Engineering from the The University of Tokyo.
Worked at Toyo Ito Architects and Associates from 2001 to 2006, in charge of international projects in the U.K. and Singapore.
Established SUEP. with partner Yoko Suemitsu in 2007.
SUEP. is a renowned young architecture firm in Japan, particularly for its specialty in sustainable architectural design.
SUEP. is known for incorporating environmental simulations, such as CFD or thermal simulations, integrating and implementing the results into its design.
Hirokazu Suemitsu has been an Associate Professor of Kyushu University since 2020.
