Description

The Healing Lab: Architectural Approaches to Well-Being is a presentation designed for architects, designers, healthcare professionals, and students interested in the intersection of architecture and health. It explores how to design spaces that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through an in-depth examination of The Ellison Institute for Transformative Medicine, participants will learn best practices for creating stress-reducing healthcare spaces, selecting durable materials, utilizing light and transparency to create welcoming environments, and integrating indoor and outdoor spaces. No prior specialized knowledge is required, though a basic understanding of architectural concepts is beneficial. Join us to transform the way we create healthcare spaces.
