AIA Shanghai roundup of recent events
As the Chapter is in the process of applying for NGO status, we have not been able to organize any events under the AIA Shanghai name. Therefore, we have acted as a supporting partner for events hosted by an aligned organisation. Over the summer and autumn months, we have been involved with a variety of events including:

DAF Asia Conference on design and application of façade
FAIA Forum with newly elevated FAIAs
Design on the 19th Asian Games
AHEC sponsored Wood in Architecture event in Beijing.
XArch Symposium at XJTL University.
In 2024, we will be continuing with our ongoing Fellowship, Students and Mentorship programs. We hope to hold our Annual Members Gala on 20 January. Finally, the NGO application is a critical focus for us, and we are working to submit it in January 2024.
