Thierry Paret: Working Beyond Borders and Cultures - 27 October
In October, we were delighted to welcome Past President of AIA International Thierry Paret to speak about his path to becoming a global architect. He shared the cross cultural lessons he learned even before his career began and how he carried this into his work. His presentation, Working Beyond Borders and Cultures was a unique look at what this can look like and Thierry gave lessons on how we can apply it to our own careers. We received lessons learned from one of our own. Thank you for sharing all of this invaluable information with us! This is not something we could learn in school or pick up a book. Roundtable with AIA Seattle International Forum: Taking your Experience Abroad - 16 November
At our most recent session, we had Milen Stanev, Kun Lim and Cort Widlowski sharing their personal stories of making a career move abroad with us. We applaud their boldness and dedication to their career and to those around them whom they benefit through this presentation. Hearing these stories will allow others to step out of their comfort zones to consider their opportunities.
