Once again AIA IR successfully organized the “Hello AIA” mini-conference on Thursday, March 11 at the Guangzhou WinDoor Façade Expo–the largest annual façade exposition in China.
The half-day program, “Pushing the Envelope with Technology and Design”, was attended by 276 people –100 more than last year. High-profile speakers from Foster, SOM, RFR, Atelier Alter, and Beijing Architecture Design & Research Institute participated, and the presenters showcased ideas and solutions in tackling climate change.
AIA IR and Informa have collaborated in the “Hello AIA” mini-conferences for the last three consecutive years during the annual WinDoor conference. The purpose of the forum is to connect manufacturers, suppliers, developers, engineers, and architects. The program content typically centers on relevant and immediate challenges facing the design and construction industry.
