Architect Datuk Tan Pei Ing started her own practice, PI Architect, in 1989. Her firm has undertaken a wide range of projects including shopping malls, hotels, commercial and residential developments etc.
Pei Ing is very active in her professional involvement as follows:

Member of the Board of Architects Malaysia
Past President and Advisor of ARCASIA
UIA Region IV council member (2017-2021)
Member of UIA PPC and Chair of sub-committee on Gender Equity in Architecture
